It was exciting to find a new and different place to have a children's birthday party! As my family were at the Garden Walk in Anaheim to have dinner we found this new place which wasn't even open yet. I spoke with the manager Kip who was kind and inviting and he gave me the scoop. What makes this place different is that you can come and go as you please and the hours are always open play.
After it opened I went once with my family to see if my oldest (10) would like to play there and as soon as we got in I didn't see him again for about an hour! He liked the area in the back where you can play soccer, basketball or baseball. I inquired about having my daughters birthday party there and found that it was a great party concept. Your party time is 45 min of scheduled time in a party room and the rest of the time is play time.
The time came for her party and the booking process went smooth. The date and time was picked and a contract and invitations were sent to me via email. I did have a few questions so I called and was able to speak with someone and got all my questions answered. What I really liked was that I didn't have to bring ANYTHING but the cake. All the plates, napkins, cups, and utensils are provided!
On the party day everyone found the location just fine and got checked in. I had everyone come about 1 hour before the party room time to make sure everyone found the location ok and got some play time in with the birthday girl. We got our room and everything was decorated in the colors we wanted. The pizza was very tasty and the kids ate it all up. The time went fast and it was back to play time. We stayed until closing and can say it was one of the best parties we have had. My suggestion is to book either the first party of the day or the last party of the day. The 45 minutes went very fast and because of their party schedule you can't linger in the rooms.
As this location is now 6 months old now people are starting to hear about them via word of mouth, Facebook or other media. I suggest trying them first with a play date and see if this is a place for you to have your child's birthday party. I know that I will be back soon for my son who wants to have his friends experience the fun. Oh an parents can play with their kids too so be sure to have a good nights rest and energy to play.
