Like many of you, your life consists of taking kids to school and then off to sports. My son has been in little league since T-ball for the city we live in and he is now in junior high so it has been many years of games, working with other parents and coaches and weekends spent at the field. My husband and I see how being involved in sports helps build a child's character, learn good sportsmanship and is great physical activity.
I was introduced to Southern California FCA through our little league. They offer camps during little league breaks and thought that a local camp would be a great option for my son to try. He could meet new kids who love the sport and have an opportunity to work with new coaches. The summer camp he attended this last summer was at Biola University where he had the chance to train and play on a college field. The experience brought to life the ability to dream about playing past high school and he was challenged with new workouts, fielding and making him stretch to bring out his best. To top it off, this camp is a Christian based camp. Each day started with devotions and teaching the kids about how baseball can bring glory to God and bless others.
