As a native Anaheim resident; Disney runs through the fabric of my life. I grew up with a Disneyland pass and went as often as I could. Today I want to pass the magic to my kiddos. Sometimes it is only for a few hours in Downtown Disney which adds a little magic to any day. Recently I had the opportunity to be at the grand re-opening of Naples Restorante and it was nothing short of spectacular! The event started with chef Mickey and chef Goofy doing a ribbon cutting ceremony with key Disney executives and confetti to set the mood of this celebration.

Starting from the out side of the restaurant you will notice four distinct sections of the restaurant- The quick serve Naples Pizzeria, the casual indoor dinning room, the outdoor bar and patio area and the upstairs private area. Whatever dinning experience you are looking for can be found in this one location.
Naples Pizzeria is great for a quick grab pizza that you can eat in the small outdoor eating area right outside the pizzeria or you can take it to go. The pizza is all hand made and baked in a wood burning oven. Along with pizza there are some quick pick snacks, drinks, salads and deserts.
The indoor dinning room is stunning! The new decor is fresh and bright with clean lines. The picture above displays the clear view refrigerators that showcases their wine selections, fine meats and impressive cheese wheels. It is an open kitchen so your family can see their food being prepared from start to finish.
The outdoor bar and patio is the place to be to enjoy a drink from the bar and enjoy the Disney atmosphere. The full menu is served in both the indoor dinning room and outdoor patio bar. At the grand opening we were treated lots of beautiful Italian treats including meatballs, a cheese tray and deserts. My personal favorites were the margherita pizza and bruschetta which were both paired perfectly with white wine.
The upstairs area is additional dining space mainly used as private rental space. The atmosphere is light and bright with adjoining outdoor patio complete with a fountain. From there you can be above downtown Disney and enjoy all the sights and sounds it has to offer.

In the past I have strolled right by this restaurant just thinking it is just a simple pizza place. This grand re-opening has really made me pay attention to the details and see the work that has been put in to create a great dining experience. Next time you want to go out to have a nice Italian meal, get your Disney fill and enjoy the beautiful Anaheim weather; look no further than Naples Restorante in Downtown Disney!
