About The Anaheim Red Shield
The Salvation Army Anaheim Red Shield Community Center is a recreation center that serves the youth, family and senior population of Anaheim. It is a place where people young and old will have opportunities to learn and grow, to build dreams and friendships, and to find sanctuary and hope. From first-time swimmer to experienced athlete, the Anaheim Red Shield has something for you.
The 55,000 sq. ft. community center located on N. Loara St. and W. North St. serves the local community through a multifaceted program that includes a family services component, pool, gym, group exercise studio, game room, computer lab, kitchen, performing arts theatre and worship chapel, gathering spaces and more. The community center offers tutoring in math, reading and writing; computer education; recreational swim and swim lessons; and sports, including basketball leagues.
